OUT OF NETWORK
If you don’t see your insurance here, you may still have out-of-network benefits. To verify, you can either book an appointment and upload a picture of your insurance card when prompted or give us a call with your insurance info.
SUPER BILL
We can provide a super bill upon request to submit for reimbursement when paying cash, using an HSA account, or out of network coverage.
Billing
When you book your initial visit, make sure you upload a picture of your insurance card to JaneApp.
Our billing team checks your benefits to understand your coverage.
After your visit, the billing team will submit your claim to the insurance company.
After many moons, your insurance company sends us an EOB (explanation of benefits) saying how much they will pay and how much you owe.
We now know how your insurance plan really works. We document this for the future and can explain it to you.
We are happy to check your insurance coverage, however, the insurance business is a complicated and tricky one. The information provided is always a rough estimate of coverage. We don’t know exactly how coverage plays out until the insurance sends us the Explanation of Benefits. It is always a good idea to reach out to your insurance company to learn about your benefits. If you do here are a few questions to ask:
Is McNash Acupuncture and Massage Clinic (EIN 85-1263803) an In Network Provider?
A. If not, ask if you have out of network coverage?
B. If the clinic is covered with IN or OUT of network coverage ask the following questions:
Do need a pre authorization?
Do I have Acupuncture coverage for CPT codes 97810, 97811, 97813, 97814?
What is my deductible?
Does my deductible need to be met before I am covered for Acupuncture?
What is my copay and/or coinsurance?
How many visits am I allowed for Acupuncture?
Are they shared with Chiropractic care?
Done! BE SURE to get a reference number!
We are able to get this information for you, if you provide your insurance information however, it is usually advised for patients to do a verification also. In the case that your insurance provides us incorrect information, they generally have to uphold any information they give to the insured directly (you). Please let us know if you have any questions about this process and we are happy to help answer any questions you may have.
